The Routine

Color first, following the instructions included with the kit and choosing the applicator that suits your length. Once the color has set, keep it looking right: shampoo two or three times a week, work the oil or the scruff cream through while the beard is still damp, and keep the neckline and cheek lines crisp with the razor. Shave after a warm shower, hold the blade at a shallow angle, use short strokes, and dry the razor before folding it away.
